Chase....if you look in my thread I have asked repeatly for everyone to please not post their own picks in the thread....whether they agree with mine or not.
The thread is for tracking the plays and for tracking the record. I know from past experience that once a lot of discussion starts, things tend to go awry. That's why I don't even like in-game banter. There are plenty of threads every night where that kind of stuff fits.
Also, to be quite frank, I think it's rude to go into somebody's season-long thread that gets a lot of hits and go posting your own plays. If you want to build a rep, you should take the time to start a thread of your own and track your record. I don't think you would walk into somebody else's store and set up a counter and sell your own goods.
I understand that your intent was not disrespectful.....and it's likely that you weren't even trying to self-promote. You had played the over and were excited and were probably hoping I had the over as well.....and posted your disappointment when the opposite was true. In my post that followed it, I was trying to tactfully say "don't do that" by pointing out that your saying "good luck" was bogus, since your real hope had to be the opposite.
But that is trivial..........
In any case, I'm just trying to pick winners....and I generally do well and so I like to share them to help people stay away from touts. I make no money from this other than what I win from the books.....when I win. So I'm hoping you will respect my wishes and refrain from commenting inside the thread.
